And the San Juan Parish Church – 16th century church and situated in the Plaza De Las Chafarinas. It is also known as one of the best historical sites of the city, for it was built within the remains of the 10th century mosque.

Aside from these sceneries, there are also beautiful and relaxing hotels which you will really love. One of them is The City Mar Gran Hotel Almeria. It was built in 60’s with unique qualities for it was the time when the movie shooting boomed in Almeria. It was the favorite shooting place of the famous stars such as Harrison Ford, Sean Connery and many others. There were also many other hotels that provide cheap and convenient amenities.

Almeria’s famous Cuisines and restaurants Almeria is the Mediterranean province of Spain. It is located in the south eastern part of Spain. It is the 8th capital provincial of Andalucia. The name was taken from the historical word ‘Al- Marayat’ which means ‘The Mirror of the sea’. Almeria is known to have a dry and warm weather condition and considered to be as one of the warmest region in Spain. It is famous for its natural beauty of beaches and the unique way of living and of course their nutritious and fresh menus. The city was filled with museums, churches, restaurants with having satisfaction with their recipes. Most of their restaurants serves nutritious and healthy menus, mainly seafood sautéed or grilled in olive oil. The most popular main dish is the “Escabeche e Sardines” which taken from the Philippine’s local, it is made out of fresh fish, some spices, and tomato sauce. Some famous beaches in Almeria SpainThe city of Almeria Spain is designated of having a Marina which is the Almeria Club del Mar which features many watersports that include sailing, fishing, rowing as well as wind surfing. Aside from that, the Marina as well has also a ferry terminal which allows tourists and locals to have a trip to North Africa. The city is famous of being the least known and most pristine coastline that stretches within the whole part of Spain.

Some famous beaches in Almeria include:

• La Garrofa Beach—famous of having a very small beach which fits the cliffs of deep waters.
